Bloodlines (KinKaid Wolf Pack 1) by Jessica Lee

Summary:
Evin KinKaid, the only son of the KinKaid pack’s alpha, has a secret. One that will tear his family apart. In one year, Evin is to succeed his father as alpha leader and continue the dominant bloodline of his family. There’s only one problem: Evin is gay. When Evin is pushed into the bed of his intended female mate, he’s forced to reveal the truth. And for an alpha male wolf shifter promised to a female whose goal is to one day be queen, coming out has never been more explosive.

To Mason Thorne II, heir to Thorne Global Inc., life is a lie. To sustain his father’s love, Mason has agreed to stay in the family business and to one day assume his place as CEO. Instead of reaching for his heart’s desire, he's settled for a life that he never wanted. But an unexpected auto accident will send both Evin and Mason into each others' arms and down a path toward a destiny neither man can escape: an eternity sealed in blood.

Bloodlines was a hot story and the plot was charged with a wave of different emotions.

This story started with a good sentence:
Any male would be a fool to refuse what she was offering. Any male who wasn’t gay, of course.
And of course Evin did just that, he refused to go to bed with Jocelyn, the female wolf shifter who was supposed to be his Queen. When Evin admits to being gay, his father bans him from the pack land.

As I said, this story was solid enough. As soon as Evin and Mason met the sparks flew. We could feel the tension around them and how hot they were for each other. Their emotions and feelings were real, I liked that. But the truth is you can enjoy the sex scenes for a while, but there gets to a point where you simply can't enjoy them anymore. And as I reader, I got to that point fast and I was fed up with it.

When Mason is bitten by Evin during sex, he becomes infected and only the healers from Evin pack can help them. Evin is forced to make a deal with his Father. Evin and Mason were HOT together and for that I give 4 stars.
